Introduction

He’s going to have to go by his better instincts again, he thought. Rhyming was engrained in his soul, and it’d be a struggle to resist, but resist he must, if he was to make this thing work.
But what was this thing, anyway? He wasn’t entirely sure of that, but what he was sure of, was that it was definately time for a change. He’d been doing the same kind of thing, the same inane routine over and over again for innumerable years. Well, two.
But that’s irrelevant: The point was, in essence, that a change was definately overdue.
He considered making a grand-gesture, coming up with a complex, pointlessly long, yet brilliant plan with which he would unveil in a tremendous crescendo befitting the tremendous genius he expended to make it all happen: Right after this, he would reveal the whole plan, step-by-step, making his scheme look so easy, and yet so perfect, that women literally fell into his welcoming arms. Hell, he might even write a book about it, or a screenplay.
He’d always wanted to see his name in lights bigger than 36pt. Maybe they’d cast someone like George Clooney, or Brad Pitt to play him, he wondered, bemused; those guys always manage to get those kind of roles. Far from being typecast, I guess they just prefer them; playing the intelligent, charismatic and cool innovators… That suited him fine, but he knew it’d never work, unless they took the casting director from a 70′s B-movie, or a political-broadcast film. Maybe Denzel Washington. That’d be closer, he thought.
Would it? Either way, it didn’t matter, he didn’t do what he thought he should of done, else he wouldn’t be thinking about it, he’d be doing on it, working on the script and biography that’d be released 10 years later, when he was around 30. Maybe it was a bit premature to be thinking about that now, but you can never be too prepared, can you?
“Hmm,” he hmm’d to himself, it wasn’t quite a sigh.
He was lost now, and he didn’t have a map big enough to get him back where he was before this tangent.
